Prezenca is a Slovenian word for presence. The dictionary gives its plain sense, navzočnost and prisotnost. The sense we mean is the one you hear on stage and read in reviews, odrska prezenca: the charisma of a performer you keep watching, a voice that carries, a way of appearing that could only be theirs.

It comes from the Latin praesentia, like the English presence and the Italian presenza. The domain spells it out: prezen.ca.

How to say it

The stress is on the second syllable, and the c sounds like ts, as in pizza.

What it means for a brand

Presence is not the same as visibility. A brand with presence is recognised before you read its name: by its shape, its tone and the way it moves. It does not need to shout, because it knows what it is. That kind of presence is built from many small decisions, which is why we take design seriously.

Why it suits what we do

  1. Prezenca. Gives a destination a presence of its own: stays, access, experiences and events appear as one place in one storefront, not as a dozen separate sites.
  2. Prezenca Critique. Keeps a website’s presence sharp: anyone can point at what looks wrong, and the team fixes it before the next visitor notices.
  3. Client work. We design how your product presents itself, from the first screen to the smallest detail, and build it so that it holds up.

Where the name lives

Prezenca, the platform, will live at prezen.ca. Prezenca Critique is at critique.prezen.ca, and the company behind both, Prezenca Group, is at group.prezen.ca.
